New year is the time when people start making resolutions like Eat healthy , Stay fit, Weight loss, Weight gain etc..but end up or break it by mid January itself. So if you are among those 90% people and are guilty about it & want to start fresh then here’s a very easy to make and yummy (I swear) energy bites recipe, A step to healthy you 🙂
You don’t need to wait for next year, next month or a Monday to start fresh. Do it NOW!!
Well to be honest, I was also among the 90% people 2 years ago but once I started to stick to my resolution (its hard but not impossible, you can go through 7 steps to healthier you – How I stood by my healthy resolution). I became an addict. Addicted to staying healthy. Yes, I do have my cheat days and eating healthy doesn’t mean you give up on other yummilicious, delicious food.
So if you are like me who loves to munch on food every 2 hours and still want to stay fit, try these energy bites..
Krispy Choco Bite Recipe :
Preparation time : 15 mins
1 cup Oatmeal
1/2 cup creamy crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes
1/2 choco chips
1/2 cup grounded flex seeds
1/2 cup grounded almonds
1/3 cup honey
1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
4 Tbsp grounded hazel nuts
- Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl.
- After mixing them properly, refrigerate it for 10 mins. Refrigerating it will make it easy for shaping.
- You can now roll it down to balls or cut into various shapes and enjoy healthy breaks.
- Store them in an air tight container.
Caution : Please take care you are not allergic any of the above ingredients.
Allergic or not a fan of the above ingredients? Don’t worry you can use the easily available substitutes.
Choco chips – Dark Chocolate, white chocolate, cinnamon chips
Crunchy peanut butter – Almond butter
Honey – Caster sugar
If you feel the mixture is too dry you can add a bit crunchy peanut butter to it. Or if you feel its more on the semi liquid side than add oatmeals to it.
Though I would suggest not to use the substitutes as it might change the taste a bit.
So this was simple yet healthy & tasty bite for that instant energy.
